HURSTVILLE MATERNITY

Est. in 2017, KVP Studio continues its beautiful relationship with the Maternity Unit at Hurstville Private Hospital. We offer complimentary mini sessions for all bubs delivered at Hurstville Maternity.

This photography program has become a bit of an icon at Hurstville Private, we have had many parents tell us that it was a major factor when deciding where to deliver their baby… apart from it being the best Maternity Hospital in Sydney they didn’t want to miss this unique experience!

The session takes place in our Peakhurst Heights Studio.

A few days after your session you will be sent a password protected gallery where you can view and purchase the images if you choose. Packages start at $290

You will be gifted one print and there is no obligation to buy anything.

This session is approx. 40 minutes and is the perfect solution for many families but if you are looking for a newborn session with all the bells & whistles then I suggest that you pre-book a full studio session where we can spend more time capturing your little one with more variety including props, different set ups and of cause the important family & sibling images.

HOSPITAL FAQ'S

Can I pre book the complimentary session?: Yes, you are welcome to contact me before delivering to book your appointment or contact us during your stay via the QR code in your room and we will get available dates back to you. BOOK A SESSION [please let me know if you are a Hurstville patient when contacting us]
How long is the session?: The mini session is approx. 40 min, please try your best to be on time as we are often booked back to back and I want to spend as long with your little one as possible.
Do I need to bring clothing & props?: No, we ask that you do not bring clothing changes.

Before leaving the house dress your baby in an outfit that you would like photographed, I will take a few images in that outfit before we undress them.

We will use our wraps to swaddle your baby and we provide an assortment of knitted props. If you have a family heirloom, blanket, beanie, teddy or other accessory that you would like photographed you are welcome to bring it along to your session but there is no need to as I have plenty of options for you to choose from.
Do we include family & siblings?: We do NOT include sibling images in the complimentary Hurstville session & we ask that siblings are not brought to the studio, we have limited time and a soothing calm environment is crucial to capture beautiful images.
However, you will be given the option to book a FAMILY ADD ON SESSION - Only available for one month from discharge. Ask us for details.
How long till I see my images?: Only a few days!
We know that you are excited to share the images of your new baby with the world and we will work around the clock to get them back to you as soon as we can usually within 4 days.
What is free?: The photography session is complimentary & you will be gifted one free 6x9 inch print chosen by KVP Studio. You may then purchase from your gallery if you want to, remember there is no obligation to buy anything.
